The Celli Group announces the acquisition of the After-Sales, Maintenance and Distribution Division of Tecnofrigo Beverage Dispensing Systems
, with transfer to Celli of all the staff and all the relative assets and liabilities.
Tecnofrigo has been a Celli dealer for over 25 years for the Emilia Romagna and March regions in Italy and is an authorized retailer of Cosmetal systems.
It is the most important after-sales centre in terms of number of technicians - 25 covering central Italy - and has international companies amongst its customers like Heineken, Carlsberg and Pepsico for whom it performs plant maintenance via Celli Service.
This acquisition reinforces the Group’s position in the services industry, and will lead to the development of a centre of excellence and innovation for managing and maintaining dispensing systems and creating the water system hiring business, and this development will be matched by the growth of the Acqua Alma brand owned by Celli in a highly attractive tourist area.
Valerio Suzzi, the director and majority shareholder of Tecnofrigo, will remain inside the Celli Group in order to develop the business area.
By acquiring Tecnofrigo, the Group has also further consolidated its leadership in Italy and increased Italian sales volumes to about €35 million, so the Group’s total turnover for 2019 will exceed €120 million.
