Thanks to Celli, starting from today also coffee will benefit from all the advantages of draught!
By combining Celli’s unquestioned experience in technologic innovation applied to beverages draught systems with Illy’s long-dated coffee excellence, a project has been shaped.
This is set to change the drinking experience of this beverage so loved in the world, allowing to enjoy it also cold. Illy Cold Brew – this is its name, is cold-brewed for 12 hours, following a method borrowed from the tea world, so as to best preserve all the flavours and obtain a fresh, thirst-quenching and cooling and naturally sweet drink.
This new consumption experience is enjoyed through the mono-origin selection Brazil, designed by Illy, to provide an intense and immersive taste, either alone or as an ingredient of amazing cocktails. For Illy Cold Brew, Celli ha designed an overcounter system similar to that of a fridge, with an internal container to prepare and cool the beverage. A tap dispenses by gravity directly into the glass the beverage from the cooled container.
The overcounter system has an attractive graphics and is easily installable in any bar or coffee place.
But this is not all. Illy has also invented the AIR version, adding a rich and soft froth obtained thanks to Celli’s stand-alone system, where preparing a soft froth is as easy as pie. Celli has leveraged its expertise on the beer world for coffee, this time with a different but equally delicious froth.
The system is equipped with two dispensing taps mounted on a tower located on a fridge cabinet which, through an air compressor, allows to add air to the beverage creating a very fine and tasty froth.
