During the meeting organized by Associazione Italiana Acqua di Qualità (Italian Association for Quality Water), promoted by the Italian Health Ministry, the Manual for the appropriate hygienic procedure to be followed for water treated in public establishments was presented.
A manual conceived by the association AIAQ and drawn up by Mr. Francesco Sabbatini, engineer, with the cooperation of all the thirty companies in the association, including the Celli Group, draught market leader. The Manual has also been validated by the Italian Health Ministry.
The purpose of the manual is meeting the need of owners and managers of public establishments to have a tool providing information on the procedures to be followed for the installation and management of processed and microfiltered water dispensing systems. The industry experts had the opportunity to share their know-how and experiences on system installation, maintenance and compliance with service rules. Water dispensing systems, especially for public establishments, have become extremely important, because they can ensure the best water treatment and dispensing in a completely automatic way.
Thanks to these tools, the staff can comply more easily with basic rules on food hygiene, without polluting or compromising the properties of dispensed water. The treatment, maintenance and sanitization of the systems must be carried out by skilled staff, complying with the instructions contained in operating manuals and in the procedures for appropriate sanitization established by the person responsible for food safety.
Thanks to the quality of the systems and a faultless maintenance, it is possible to reap multiple benefits, in terms of costs and storage for the owners and managers of public establishments, for customers’ health and for environmental sustainability, reducing the use of bottles and packaging.
