This step reinforces the Group’s position in the service industry in the UK and completes the development of a center of excellence and innovation for Refurbishment, Field Service and Supply Chain. Each facility provides ‘best-in-class service’ to the customer with the UK as the first market leader in the world in terms of draft beer consumption and the number of installations.
The Refurbishment service started in 1981, is now offered to the market on a larger scale and with broader expertise. The process offers a turnkey solution from collection to return including diagnosis, refurbishment, testing, and packing. Each year more than 5,000 beer engines, 7,000 chiller, and 8,000 tap points are remanufactured. The refurbishment operations recently moved to a larger facility in Thirsk, will significantly increase both the range of components and the number of products remanufactured per month.
The Field Service operation sees Celli active alongside T&J Installations Ltd, which has been recently acquired within the Group. T&J with 95 employees, 7 branches, and 65 technicians, offers services to over 15,000 commercial activities in the hospitality sector including pubs, hotels, restaurants, and independent brand owners throughout the UK. The field service will further expand in the future growth from the core competence of T&J and the ("IOT") systems and data analytics.
The Supply Chain service has its new National Distribution Centre in Wetherby, just 30 minutes from Cell UK HQ based in Thirsk. The prime location, alongside the A1(M), is spread over 32,000 sq ft and will guarantee prompt delivery of equipment and spare parts to the domestic market and other international markets from early August. The Celli Asset Management UK organization has also been strengthened with the addition of a strong Management Team in Celli UK with highly experienced competence and relevant knowledge in the industry.
Nigel Farrar, Managing Director of the Celli Group UK commented, "The Celli Group is a leader in the UK in the design and production of the ‘complete solution’ in drinks dispense equipment. We can now support our customers for the entire Asset Management process. This takes place in the middle of a particularly critical period, not only for our country but also for many other countries as well. It is proof of how much the Celli Group believes in the future of this market."
"The step” - says Adalberto Pizzi, Director of the Celli Group Asset Management Division –
“completes the company vision on asset management from the market and is the start of a
new journey. Our portfolio of services will allow customers to
benefit from our knowledge and expertise while choosing a cost-effective, end-to-end solution."
“I’m delighted in joining the Celli Group” – says Alastair Newstead, Celli UK Asset Management Director – “it is an incredibly exciting time for the company, particularly here in the UK with the launch of the asset management business. I was attracted by the vision of the team in being able to deliver a complete offering to our customers as well as providing many innovative solutions.”
