CELLI GROUP SUPPORTS "RIVIERA BASKET"

Celli was established in 1974, in the heart of the Rimini territory. In its 40 years’ history, the company increased in size and evolved, from a local company to an excellence Group, conquering the leadership role in the beverage sector, also by acquiring important companies.

This is only the first of the many preset targets, with the strong conviction that important targets can be reached and great challenges can be won only through commitment and determination. This is the rationale underlying the choice to set up a sport partnership with the Rimini wheelchair basketball association “Riviera Basket”.

Wheelchair basketball is a team sport for the disabled; it is very spectacular and requires skillfulness, intelligence and quickness. It is characterized by individual and team technical and tactical choices which closely reproduce a basketball game for the able-bodied. Riviera Basket was set up to benefit disabled people, spreading sport practice to enhance human promotion and social inclusion.
The purpose is not only to prepare to competition, but also to promote a strong commitment in sport to offer opportunities for personal promotion and motivation.
Riviera Basket is a dynamic and ambitious sport association in the Rimini area and, just like the Celli Group, supports and appreciates team fundamental values: commitment, rigour, loyalty and, why not, eagerness to win. These are fundamental values for sport practice but also in life and in the workplace.

Thanks to this partnership, Celli Group intends to raise awareness on this sport which tells stories, about people and wonderful life experiences and helps many people to believe and win challenges much greater than sport ones.
